Welcome To My Journey!

Hey All! Welcome to my very first blog experience! I'm super excited you've stopped in and I'd like to invite you to take a journey with me....A Journey to SuperMom (& wife)!  So I'm pretty much expecting this to be a pretty crazy journey (I mean my boys are 7 and 4 and so far, it's been nothing but craziness! The kind of craziness I wouldn't change for the world though.) And now, here I am, deciding 7 years after my first born, that I'm going to be Super Mom (& wife).  I mean, why not? Why can't I? I see other Moms (& wives) all super'd out, so I can too....right??
So let me take you through my craziness real quick:  Before I go to work, as a full time medical assistant for 3 very well known urologists in our area; I wake up to 2 Super Dudes; a 4 year old (bright and early) and a 7 year old (sleeps a bit later); and a hubby who works from home (so he gets to push the SNOOZE button 4,5, sometimes 6x's before he has to wake up and mozy on over to the office....about 5 steps away from the bedroom) OH and I forgot to mention, our beautiful American Staffordshire (the only other female stickin' this journey out with me) whose "Oh so cold" nose nudges into my warm body just as I'm about to wake up.  I usually NEVER wake up on time (waking up on time shall be one of the goals I plan to accomlish along this journey)...so I'm usually running around like a complete crazy woman with little to no time to get myself and the 2 little Super Dudes, ready.  So I run out the door with no seconds to spare, usually have to run back in because I forgot something (sometimes its one of the little Super Dudes, sometimes its the keys!) OK I admit, all the craziness running through my head makes me a bit forgetful!  BUT this year...hubby's working from home, so I've been able to at least leave our 7 year old at home in the morning for Super Hubby to handle.  Sure helps me out a bit.  So I drop Josh (the 4 year old) off at Miss Laura's (Simply Kids; an amazing in home daycare, right around the corner from our home, that I was able to find while having terrible anxiety attacks about leaving my child with someone we dont know).  After I drop him off I take the 20 min. drive to the insanely crazy office.
Let me tell you a little about my work day....I get in anywhere from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. (it depends on what job title I'm working as that day, as well as what time I actually get my butt out of bed).  I am a "many titles worker" at my office, along with the 10 other girls I work with.  You will pee your pants a little if you follow me through my journey as I tell you some of the stories from the office.  You really never know what you're gonna get when you walk in that door...and although sometimes I want to rip my hair out; its pretty darn hysterical. And so I make it through the day and leave anywhere between 4:30 and 6:00.  And 1/2 hour later....I'm home.....
So goes the last part of my day. And this is really when the whole Super Mom (& wife) thing will really be beneficial.  Quick overview of the things that happen at the very second of me walking through the front door.  I'm eagerly greeted by my little super dude's who are telling me every detail of their day (at the same time) all in a 30 second span.  Super Dog is jumping up and down on me repeatedly (I love the dog, but this is SUPER annoying!) And Super Hubby is quietly working away in the office.  (I forgot to mention that thankfully, Super Hubby is home and can therefore get Joey (our 7 year old) off the bus, and my awesome neighbor who works at Simply Kids, brings Josh (our 4 year old) home.  So these are 2 things that take a huge weight off Super Moms  shoulders).  OK, back to walking through the door....I place down the usual 3 or 4 bags I have  in my hands and immediately start picking up a few odds and ends that should have been put in the garbage immediately after their use (an empty cereal box from cereal that Super Hubby had for breakfast, a few socks that were kicked off upon the Super Dude's getting home, a napkin that Super Dog chewed up...etc etc) Then comes after school activities (karate, hockey) Homework, dinner (occassionally home cooked), PTA meetings, volunteer work with my sisters NPO, baths/showers, .....and before you I know it, its 9pm (an hour after I plan to have the Super Dudes in bed) and NOTHING has been done yet as far as cleaning up around the house.  Super Hubby finished work about 2/3 hours ago and has been "settling down" by hangin out on his nice, comfy recliner.  He now wants me to "settle down" with him, however he fails to realize (every single night) that my day STILL is not over....there's laundry still unfolded on the couch, dirty dishes in the sink, a rubbermaind container full of the current seasons clothes that I still need to go through, unorganized mail in piles on the very unorganized desk....yadda yadda yadda.  So I do my best to attempt to conquer at least one of those tasks over the next hour and then I finally give in to the calling of my couch....its yelling to me, "Get your butt over here....the tasks of Super Mom will STILL be here tomorrow."
And before I know it....tomorrow is here.
So again, I invite you to follow me on my crazy journey to Super Mom (& wife).  Along this journey I will learn and perfect my cooking and baking skills (so plan to see recipes, pictures and reviews of cooking utensils); work on bringing up my Super Dudes to be respectful, smart, hard working young dudes; turn this house into a home; get our butts out of debt and begin the journey to home ownership (we now rent our home for the past  2 years); COUPON, COUPON, COUPON (I'm CONSTANTLY searching for amazing deals and coupons to help us save money to get our butts out of said debt) I will be sharing these deals with you (WOOHOO!); keep my marriage intact and growing stronger daily; sharing with you my passion to help others; and in my spare time (HAHAHAHAHA) I'd love to be a Super CRAFTY Mom (so i'll be scrapbooking, sewing, painting, building...whatever things I decide to try and give a shot). I'll take you through the amazing awesomeness of my church and the ministries I'm involved in with them, and simply whatever else I pass along my journey. It'll be a good time, I promise :)
I'm so into hearing your opinions and ALL about YOUR journey too...so please SHARE!!!

LET THE JOURNEY BEGIN :)
